I am a political, urban and legal geographer committed to tracing how law and justice are lived, contested, and enforced — from the geopolitical stage of international courts to the everyday spaces of housing and debt. My earlier work examined higher regional appeal courts and the International Criminal Court in the context of the Syrian war, showing how questions of justice, evidence, and geopolitics intersect. Building on this foundation, my current research explores the urban geographies of eviction, enforcement, and indebtedness in Germany.

Across these scales, I investigate how legal and financial infrastructures shape ordinary lives, how moral economies of debt and property are constructed, and how people resist, navigate, and reimagine justice. By bridging critical urban studies, socio-legal scholarship, and political geography, my mission is to make visible the entanglements between law, finance, and everyday survival — and to advance conversations about housing justice, debt, and the future of urban life.
